My wages were garnished a total of $1800 for a debt that was only $530. The company that i owed the debt to says they did not receive any funds. How do i find out where my money went and how do i go about getting back the over payment?
I ended up taking out a payday loan to relieve some financial stress between jobs. I ended up in a cycle of getting new ones, just to pay off the other ones and now I'm behind. I live in Pennsylvania and I'm not too sure of the laws here. Here is a list of my creditors and amounts:
Great Plains: $400
My Cash Now: $400
Yellowdale: $200
US Fast Cash: $300
Someone by the name of "David Johnson" called my job last night and has been calling my home, saying that they are from a law firm and I will be dragged to court. And that my FICO score will drop 65 points. The number they left is 619-704-9653. I do have payday loans, but none are outstanding, so I am confused, how do I get these calls to stop?
I took a $1500 loan with Western Sky which of course was sold to Cash Call. I owe only $500 now on the principle. Has anyone had any luck dealing with them? If so how did you do it. I have no problem making payments to pay back the amount of principle that I owe but not the high interest.
I've finally have the nerve to post after reading so many stories. Believe me they have been encouraging and hopefully will get me out of this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE mess I am in. I have been trying to repair our credit. I have a verizon bill i owe but they have it racked up so high with late fees there is no way i can pay it off. Do you think they would take a settlement offer if i called its very old several years like 3 or 4 years possibly old.

Hello,I received a threatening call from TRS saying I owed a PDL Everest Cash Advance and they are beginning the Wage Assignment with my employer. What is that, and can they do that? I know Everest is illegal in CA. I've sent them Cease and Desist letter but they never responded. Should I be worried about a Wage Assignment?
I am trying to find out if this company VIP Cash or Qloot is legal as an internet payday loan in the State of Tn and also the Company by the name of PayDay Loan? I currently have 2 loans with both of these and have more than paid back what I borrowed from them but they are continuously deducting fees every 2 weeks from my checking account !
