Sold to some sort of collection agency

I live in California and had a delinquent payday loan with Western Sky that has been sold to some sort of collection agency. They now have a "locator" calling my phone, my family, and my job to ask questions about me. I am not sure that this is legit as I have been caught in fraud before. Can they sue me and is it okay for them to harass me on this level?

Most payments are just their fee

I need help! I feel like I’m drowning in payday loans.... some I know I have overpaid on...
Brighton Financial: borrowed $200, paid $2,400
Jupiter Funding Group: borrowed $250, paid at least $500
Blue King Financial: borrowed $400, paid $250 -
Advance Sovereign Financial: borrowed $400, paid $200
Castle Pay Day: borrowed $750, paid back $262
Most of these payments are just their "fees". How do I get them to consider the loan in full...and how do I get a refund from Brighton and Jupiter?

Go through payroll department

I owe 24/7 Green Street $888 (What I borrowed plus their fees). At the moment, I just don't have that to pay back! I wanted to set up some kind of payment plan each month, but they said I couldn't. She said that they wouldn't do a wage garnishment, but that they could actually go through my payroll department and take the $888 at one time from my paycheck. Is this true?

Intent to defraud a financial institution

Got into the internet PDL trap. Short story my bank account closed due to being overdrawn. As far as I know...four years later....all loans are paid. However I recently started getting voice mails at work from 877-881-0895 from a lady stating she had a case number and needed a statement from me for a case against me for intent to defraud a financial institution. I call back...no one answer. If I had a loan that had been paid do I still owe anything and if so how do I know?

Looking up my loan companies

I found this site yesterday while I was looking for a way to consolidate my loans. I immediately began looking up my loan companies and Illinois state laws. Most of the companies don't have an address available and I didn't even fill out a application or receive any contract at all for 3 of them. The companies are United Cash Loans, One Click Cash, Advance me today, Sure Advance and Archer Direct Services

Would it be better off to consolidate?

I have three payday loans with legal companies in Ohio, where I live. I read online that the max amount you can get on a PDL in Ohio is $500. Two of my loans are for $800. I am unable to make the payment on them right now and I tried to get a settlement out of them but they basically won't work with me. I am hoping to get a part time job to supplement my full time job so that I can pay them off. If I default, how long would it take for them to put a judgment against me. Would I have a month before it would get that far?
