I have a open loan with Plain Green and I have paid bi-weekly payments of $126.74. My financial situation has changed and I can't afford paying that much every other week so I called them and asked if we could work out a more suitable payment plan and they said flat out no. At this point what are my options? Are these loans even legal in Michigan?

Extra money I would have to pay back

I'm a Georgia resident and I took out an online payday loan with Great plains lending. They gave me 800.00, and I've made 8 payments of 141.28. By the time I make my last payment the sum of all of them will be a little over 2500.00. I told someone about this and they told me that payday loans were illegal in Ga, had I known this and all of the extra money I would have to pay back I wouldn't have done it..is this info true? Will I have to pay the loan back in full?

Able to pay in my terms

I made the mistake as many here and got myself in a bind. I have loans with Plain Green, Advance Me Today and Cash Cure. I have been paying on the last 2 for about 2 months now. I paid in 450 each with loans of 500 and 600. Are these guys principle only or do I have to pay the fees also. I Live in WI, I can not seem to find out 100% of these lenders are legal there. I like to be able to pay in my terms. I will pay them back, just not @ 150 every two weeks.

Do I go to a debt consolidation company?

Today I want to gain control of my finances. I have numerous payday loans. I closed my account and opened a new one. They are all calling me and I’m not answering because I don’t even know what to say. The stress is giving me nights of insomnia, I’ve lost weight, and my joy is gone. Do I go to a debt consolidation company for payday loans? I just don’t even know where to start or what to do?

Allow debits from legal lenders

I have many pdl’s that are eating my lunch, and I am ready to take the advice on this site to turn things around. However, a couple of my loans are through 'lenders' that ARE licensed in my state (Alaska). If I close my checking account, set up a new one, should I try to allow debits from the 'legal' lenders? Do I send them the same letters as the illegal lenders? In short, how do I differentiate (or do I) between the legal and illegal?
