I'm unable to keep paying the credit cards. My income is Social Security and 2 small retirements from my late husband due to his disability before he passed away. Can the creditors take action against me?? My income is direct deposit. Can they attach or get a judgment against my income. I live in Kansas. I do know my home and car are protected here. What to do??? Very scary, as my medical costs just keeping going up!! I will be 70 next July!! I was disabled before receiving regular SS benefits. None of my income is currently taxable.

I just called town and country and found out that they don't work with KY residents for PDL Consolidation. Does anyone know of a reputable company that might work with KY residents? I really would like to consolidate my storefronts ( I have 3) if at all possible and I don't know where to go from here.

I just received a call from Ms. Jackson at an attorneys office stating that "their client" would be filing charges for bad checks in my county for the payday loan I didn't finish paying. However the company she said was not even one that I have heard of and she said I never made a payment??? Can they do this?

I'm a Minnesota resident, and I took out some payday loans when I was sick from work, but now they just keep charging me. I know at least one of them isn't licensed in any state (or so it sounds from my research here), and was wondering if anyone knows if any of the others aren't licensed in a state?
The reason I ask is because I've paid the principal plus some on all of them. The loans are as follows:
United Cash Loans $200, paid $300
One Click Cash $200, paid $300
City View Cash, $225, paid $400
