Hi

I read prev. notices regarding self employed and wage garnishments. You stated that the company can file judgement agianst the self employed and have my checking account garnished until the bill is paid in full. Are we given any notice in advance of the judgement. How does this work?

I was in business a few years and certain circumstanes occured and filed bankruptcy. This came off the report in 2009 and now they are after me. I have avoided them since 2006 which the SOL is May 26, 2010. And another is August 2010.

I have kept them at bay by not completing a change of address when I moved 4 time in the past. I forgot about the SOL and made a COA in Sept 2009 when I made the last move so now I am paying the consequences.

Someone is watching after me. There is a house I have been wanting almost since we started looking, and since I started looking at my credit, which is really funky bad. A couple of days ago I called the Realtor and told him I was frustrated with my poor credit and couldn't take it anymore. I told him I wanted that house & I was desperate, and I wanted to talk to the bank that owns it. So he gave me the bankers name and phone # of who is handling it.

How to remove item from credit report

Hi,

I won against a collection agency. They were trying to sue me for a credit card debt they supposedly bought from another agency that supposedly bought it from others. If the 2nd buyer is the one that lists it on my report, and it keeps coming back as verified, can I use the courts "judgment granted to the defendant" as a means to get that item removed from my credit report?

The collection agency against whom I had won the case is not reporting it. The previous one is reporting the account. Thus, what should I do?

Thanks.

i retired on march 30th. april 2, i was admitted to a hosp for a 6 day stay.i have a very small pension and will begin drawing s.s.i. in august. the hosp bill far exceeds a small retirement fund i have. my insurance was terminated on the same day i retired. my ssi will just cover my living expenses. whaTt can io expect and the best way to deal with it. i have my thoughts but am interested in others thoughts. did not not want to start retirement in this manner. i now fall under veterans insurance (i am a viet nam vet) but during that hospital stay, i was uninsured.
