Judgment

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Fri, 06/04/2010 - 01:50

I have just been told by the hr department at work that they are going to garnish my salary for a judgment. I only received a piece of paper with the credit and attorney - This was paid, I believe almost 6 years ago but I cannot find the paperwork. The bank where the checks were drawn has changed names 3 times and is now closed. I did get a paper after it was paid marked paid in full but I cannot find. I called the law office and I believe the debt - ??_ is now with some one else because I got a call from Enchanced Recovery. Any ideas how I can prove that the debt was paid

We are now on Facebook and Twitter too!!!

I have a collection that opened in 1994. Date of Status is 05/2005.
This collection is over 16 years old. Creditor's statement says that
it was purchased by another lender. What can I do to have this removed. The statue of limition in Texas is 4 years but the orginal office is OHIO, which their statue is 15 years. I am a resident of Texas.

Credit Score, negative report.

Have an issue where you have to pay a fee for a credit score from each individual credit reporting agency, Transunion. Esperian, Equifax. I know that things change but it should not be to that extent. You can log on and get your yearly report but then you have to go back in and get a credit score for a fee. They have changed their practice, so they should also change their method of doing business. They are collecting a fee so when a nagative shows up and is reported as a collection, they should also remove the nagative from the file when it is paid.
