I have a good amt in there(just recieved tax return) a creditor put the hold for the entire amt.Part of that money was tax return, yesterdays paycheck and a portion was a social security disability deposit i recieve instead of childsupport from my childrens father.....I just need some suggestions where to go from here.It left me completley broke. i thought they couldnt touch savings only if there was a checking acct.

Hi Jaeden,

I believe it's better to pay off the due. But as you have very less money, you should better talk to the bank about your problem and get into a settlement with them. However, before you contact the bank, jot down your income and expenditure details. You may need to show that to the bank.

Is there a quick and easy way for you to find out what you owe to what creditors?

I have some creditors out there I own money and am doing pretty good on making payments on and keeping things under control but their are those few that are out there somewhere that I just cant remember who to pay too and who they are. I just remember that I do money here and there.

Is there a simple way to consolidate all your bills down to one payment a month?

Thank you for your advice to a half idiot! ;D

I received summons two days ago...I am confused if I should file a response to the court or send a settlement offer letter to the CA.

Should I send a settlement letter to the CA ASAP? will this stop the lawsuit? It took them forever to response to my DV request letter. I am just worried that my settlement letter won't be responded before my summons reponse due date.
