I went on their website and filled out an inquiry form in which I SPECIFICALLY asked not to be contacted over the phone. The next day I received no less than 12 phone calls from them, and during each call I expressed my wish to not be contacted over the phone, only to be called again the next hour. THEN, as if that wasn't enough, I got this email from one of their representatives:
jennifer,

What did you expect you filled out the information online just trying to help.

Credit Card Comparison

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Sat, 02/02/2008 - 16:35

I am comparing all my credit cards to determine which are the ones to keep and which to ditch, but I am struggling trying to decide what makes a good deal.

My scores are low 600s, which I expect to raise once I pay these off, but that limits my ability right now to qualify for the low interest no fee cards, but those are my end goal.

I have a card with a limit of $800, APR of 30.99, no other fees.
I also have a card with a 800, APR of 9.9, but monthly fee of 6.50 and an annual fee of 48. By my math, assuming worst case where card is always maxed:

Grocery Store Savings Online

I just found out that my local grocery store has coupons online that I can register my shopper card with and they come off the product instantly at the register. I think this is so cool, then you don't forget your coupons and you save a little paper, good for the environment.

You guys may want to check out the web page for the places you shop, they may offer these savings and coupons also.

Recycle and save

I use empty coffee cans for a variety of things and have saved a few dollars on items that these often replace especially storage or little trash cans.
I have decorated them up and used them as cookie tins for christmas by using cards from last year and some clear shipping tape. You can also do up pet treat cans with them, these go over well with pet owners, they can reuse them for treats over and over.
I have used them for storing nuts and bolts, screws and nails, any of those hardware items that rip the bags they come in.

Household Budgeting

How do you have your household budget set up?

Do you have a spreadsheet on the computer? Do you have it hard copy on paper? Do you keep track of all your savings with coupons? What do you do to keep track of your money?

I use a tablet to write everything done month to month, been thinking about using the software that came on my computer, but just can't get into the swing of it. I would rather sit down with my coffee on the couch and figure it all out. Go month to month.

High Interest Yield Savings?

Not trying to promote one brick and morter bank to another. Or, Internet Bank to another....

But I was wondering if any of you utilize such banks where you receive at or above 4% in your savings accounts??

I was tired of getting basically nothing from the traditional bank that I researched a little on the net and found several sites/places on the net (I WAS ONLY INTERESTED IN FDIC BANKS)... and I began to try them out.

What about you??? Just curious if any of you ever explored what the other alternatives are...

Applying for New Credit Card?

I have a Capital One line with a credit limit thus far of 300 a small amount however a good start for someone wanting to repair their credit. I am planning on applying for a WAMU card ( I find it funny as soon as I applied for one card and made payments the others poured in) because the card was interest free until may of 08 and would probably give me a higher credit line to work with and they also have great perks like access to my credit score.
