Budgeting your expenditures

I have a small business, right now I only want to keep things very small scale and just want to get the appropriate insurance and credit established so that if it is something that I would like to build on later that I have a good foundation started.

I have consulted with the small business administration but even with their business plan help they are still much bigger than I want to take things right now. I just want a small amount of credit, like $2000 for small purchases and enough insurance to cover a few birds.

Reading about budgeting made me think of this. When I was a teenager, babysitting was my "employment". I would get paid 50 cents an hour (starting at age 14) and worked up to getting 75 cents to $1.00 an hour (by the time I was 17).

I have some amount of earnings apart from the ones that I save for my necessities. I want the earnings invested in some real estate or may be in stocks. I do have some knowledge on stocks but, earlier my cousin had invested in the stocks and had a set-back. I know that you need to be updated in that but – What is a better option from the two???

Hi everyone, I have a few months left in my company before I retire …. and I would like to know about the options that I can consider for my retirement plan. I am taking about some real good investments so that I get my future secured (want it secured for the kids too). I have a few options that I can look up to like REI, mutual funds and stocks…..but need a bit of advice from you to make a better decision.

I want to ask you all available here that is there any actual property based investment which will provide me property (i.e. dwelling basically) along with money in profit. Any help will be grateful.

I am in debt with loans and payday loans. I need help. I have bad credit, and don't know where to go to get help. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have contacted every consumer credit counseling agency I could find, they will help with everything except payday loans. I work and have 2 kids in college. If anyone can offer me a legitimate solution it would be appreciated

I am curious how much money people set aside for retirement and at what age they begin their savings. I ask because I want to make sure I am doing enough for my husband and I to retire....in 40 years LOL

I am FREAKED OUT right now! in March 2006 I wrote a check to get my tag renewed on my car. That was right when all the poop was hitting the fan in my life, the check bounced, I was evicted a couple months later so I was staying with a friend blah blah blah. I forget all about this check until March 2007 when I need to renew again. I talk to the guy at the renewal office and paid my cash to renew my tag, and foolish me thought that was the end of it. He knew about the check, I paid what I thought was 2 years worth of ad valorem and went along my happy way.

I started to pay my depts and was sucessful with two credit cards I paid total. But I am still looking for a consolidation loan and wondering if there is a loan I can get approved for even with my bad credit. I would love to get all setteld into one payment so I can Budget better and have enough food for the family!

Do you guys have any advise other then budget better. I am honest at the moment paying all bills I am in a hole with 300$ every month and couldn't buy any grocerys!
