I had a credit card with Wells Fargo. The debt is just over $2500. I had a sever illness in the family last year which resulted in a death. While going through this I couldnt afford to continue payments on the credit card. They attempted to contact me over a couple of months but due to stress in my life at the time i decided to ignore the calls. I assumed they would just turn it over to a collection agency and I would just take care of it in a year or two. (stupid line of reasoning I know and completely my fault).

I have been posting about Cach llc serving me a summons in 2006 and not having any action on the issue since that time frame, well my question was how long can it stay in my court house with out any activity? I talked to an attorney this week and apparently the answer is forever, so I guess I will just leave it alone.

I have some old debts that are SOL and actually close to being the 7 year mark for it to come off of my report. I've been holding my membership with free credit report dot com to monitor in case these creditors sue me. The reason being I no longer live in the original state where the debt took place and I never left them with a forwarding address.

I come here for some guidance on my credit cards and my credit report but as I have went through the site I notice that there are some folks here with a good working knowledge of payday loans and their collection practices. I currently have three payday loans, I am working to pay them off and get rid of them. I hit a real tough spot and had to, no choice, had to take them out. I have loans with the loan shop, 500 fast cash and with United cash loans, I just started paying $200 a check on the loan shop one because it never goes a way, I have one more payment and it will be done.
