This company seems to good to be true, I had a settlement offer back in august and I could not come up with the money, so I called them today and told them that I would like to set up a payment arrangement, they said that that would be fine. I ask to start making payments in the middle of november, they were fine with that and told me that they would wait a few months after it got down a little and make me another offer.

I just have never dealt with such a cooperative company.

May be a second stimulus in the works

As part of that package, Democrats want to resurrect a $61 billion House-passed measure that included about $37 billion in public works spending, $6 billion to extend jobless benefits, $15 billion to help states to pay their Medicaid bills and $3 billion in food stamp assistance for the poor.

The Democrats also are considering a second round of tax rebates to follow the $600 to $1,200 checks most individuals and couples got earlier this year. That money, going directly to consumers in hopes they would spend it, could push the price tag much higher.

My younger brother has a small business, one of his cards is up to $12,000, he has faithfully been paying on it, never late, but has not used the card in a long time, trying to pay off the bills. Well he recieve a letter telling him that they were closing the account due to inactivity and that he was getting a bill in the mail for the total amount due. He can not come up with$12,000 when this bill comes in. Can they do this? He is asking me, so I am asking you????

This score helps lenders/creditors judge whether you're a potential borrower. Credit scores range from 300 to 850. In this article on credit scores, check out the topics below:

Bogus Validation Letters?

Submitted by jenickki on Wed, 09/03/2008 - 19:48

Has anyone ever had something show up with the original bill and "state" that it is a letter of validation?

This has happened to me, or I am to believe it is bogus. It included an account number, telling me it was "acquired" by the original creditor and no owned by the collection agency. It dosen't state when it was acquired? There is no address on the bloody thing anywhere of the original creditor, and the balance is "flexing" based upon interest and credits payed within the past 30 days.
