Repayment amounts are double the finance charges

I owe about 3500 in payday loans. I was paying about almost $1600 every two weeks in finance charges, so decided to close my account and set up payment arrangements with the companies directly. Now it seems I'm in worse shape than before. The repayment amounts are almost double the finance charges and I'm still unable to get a break. I have two questions. 1 Can Payday loans be consolidated and 2 can I send them in whatever i can without them pursuing legal action. I'm in Michigan.

There are other victims I can now communicate with.

I found the site by accident. I had to default on about 4 loans because one predatory lender took most of my whole paycheck last payday because I missed one payment. What a dismal day...I was shocked and angry. Didn't know they could even do that! Now Plain Green is calling me and leaving messages, but I've been lucky enough to discover this site and know what I'm going to be dealing with. Some companies are willing to work with me-thank goodness. I want to pay my debts--but it has become overwhelming. I'm so glad there are other "victims" I can now communicate with.

What steps I should anticipate Cash Call taking?

My wife has a loan out with a company called Cash Call and another one with ThinkCash, plus numerous payday loans. I was unaware of these loans until she suffered a mental breakdown and they then came to light. I am working towards getting her to file Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. But until we get this done, I was wondering what steps I should anticipate Cash Call taking. At this point they are just blowing up her cell phone since she is not allowed to take calls. Any ideas on what their next step will be if they do not get their calls answered.

If I do not reside in Idaho, can they do this?

I contacted Sonic Cash (internet company) and informed them that according to Kansas statutes, they are overcharging my finance fee. I asked them to refund anything over the maximum fee and apply it to my loan balance. I received the following response:
When you requested the loan with us you signed an agreement that stated you were taking the loan out under Idaho laws not Kansas laws. Huh? If I don't reside in Idaho, can they do this?

help with illegal payday loan aftermath

So I made the huge mistake of getting an online payday loan from mobiloans.com and eventually my bank account went into the negatives from them withdrawing money to pay back my illegal loan. I recently found out that this loan was illeagl and I sent mobiloans an email telling them not to take out any more money and that i revoked ach authorization. I also told them that of my $1000 loan I had paid back a total of $1479 and I would need a check mailed to my address for the extra $479 that I overpaid. Next I went to my bank and told them that I wanted to revoke the authorization.

Always planned on paying this back

About a year ago, I got a PDL from cashnetusa for $400.00 in the state of OH. When it became due for payback, I asked them to wait until I made a deposit, which they didn't, causing me to be overdrawn. I had not heard anything until this last week when Great Lakes called my ex-roommate, looking for me, saying I was being investigated for fraud. Is this legal? I have always planned on paying this back, just fell on some hard times. Someone please save me from this ongoing panic attack.

Fix this before my next draft cycle.

I have two payday loans out that I have been extending and extending. My paycheck keeps shrinking. I was considering using pdl assistance but I couldn't find any info on them in the BBB.
My loans:
My cash now: 538 internet based. I've already paid 500+ towards this loan and I haven't even made a dent in the principle... I still owe 538 dollars
Payday loans: 500 internet based which is now over 600 bucks

Continue to tell me via email to call them

I sent Cash Transfer Centers letters a few weeks back stating I was revoking them from debiting my account, wage garnishing etc and also to cease and desist calling me. They continue to call a few times a day at work and home and I keep sending them letters via email and fax to cease and desist. Each day the guy says we are making a major decision here and I need to talk to you before we do. I told them to speak to me via US mail or email. They continue to tell me via email to call them and I refuse. I want everything in writing. Anyone else have issues with them?

Legally are they allowed to still call me?

Payday Loan Yes called me at work today, told our receptionist why she wanted to talk to me. She said it was about a loan that "we" took out. Then she thought she called me cell phone. Anyhow, she left me a voicemail (at work) telling me that she was calling from the litigation department and my file was going to be "turned over". She never said to who. I sent them a cease letter on April 23, as a matter of fact, faxed it to their company. I never heard from them until today. Legally, are they allowed to still call me? Especially at work giving out personal information?

Want them off my back.

I have four payday loans. One with Cash Today, one with one click cash, fast cash and the other I can't remember. They all want their money and want it now. It's been since 2011 since I took these stupid loans. I feel so stupid and alone. I've been told not to pay them at all and report them. I've told them to send it all to collections but they won't. What do I do. I live in Connecticut and need help now. I want them off my back.
