Credit repair

My wife and I each pay about half of the bill's each. She went out and charged 9 credit cards in HER name only. She just told me that she hasn't made a payment on ANY of them for 4 or 5 months.Even with the little bit of my money I have left over at the end of the month, I can't help her pay them back. Since they are in HER name only, Am I responsible too. She is not on my checking acct. Is it legal for her to pay ME for her half of the bills ? We live in Colorado. Thank you so much - Richard

I had really good credit for my whole life until a couple months ago I lost my job but was told in 4-5 months I would have my job back. I had worked at that job since I was able to work. I have no bank account and have been unable to get one. Last month I ran out of funds and I started missing my payments and now they are all overdue. My monthly payments were only 25-30.

Which is better for consultation - locally licensed attorney or on the Internet? I cant spend too much on legal fees. So, would like to go for an affordable one to deal with my credit problems.

Is there any chance for the debt relief service providers to violate the FDCPA and prey upon the common man?

I paid a judgment for an apartment I moved out of though a garnishment. Now the collections company is coming back for more, which was not part of the original judgment and I received no paperwork on it. Is that legal?

Ask them to validate their claims or sent a DV letter to the debt collector.

But why wont you? Is there any reasonable logic behind this?

I had an auto loan with Onyx accept corp back in. 1998, the vehicle was repossessed in 2000, and now , in 2014, a collection agency has put a claim on my credit report for $11,000 !!!! Is this legal'? The account was charged off in 2001, shouldn't I be free of this debt. . ?

keep one,but if you cancel the others with a balance owed it will negatively effect you.so try to pay down as much as possible if not pay them off before cancelling.
