has anyone seen the new ads on TV where the Federal Trade Commission is mocking freecreditreport.com's commercials? It's great! I have been a long time hater of freecreditreport.com. I just never understood how they could say it's free when ultimately you are having to pay for something to get it.

I am dealing with Brachfeld and associates. They call themselves a law group. Anyway-- I owed capitol one $3500 and settled with Brachfeld for $3000. They sent me a summons and then after that we reached a settlement agreement. I paid $1500 up front and agreed to pay 250 a month.
I have recently (few days ago) re-enrolled with a debt management company. For many of these creditors I have already made payments, some I have not. If I list them on my debts with the management company can I still request a debt validation letter to get proof they actually own the debt?
Also, can I still send them a cease and desist letter to ask them to stop calling me?
Can you sue a collection company in court for punitive damages as well as harassment damages and FDCPA violations. Does anyone have case law they can share. Any information is helpful
