What is considered a bad credit score?

I know I have had my problems in the past but have been good the past two years with payments on time, etc. What is considered a bad credit score? I guess I have never known.

According to me somewhere below a 580 is a pretty bad score. I mean loans and mortgages can be considered at 520 as well but that is definitely not a good score.

Bad credit score? I guess it depends on the Bank who gives you that credit. It could be indicated in the credit card quick guides. In FICO they score so badly, 500 to 580, that's their bad score and when you reach 499 and below, my friend, you are in serious need for help for bad credit.
