Judgments and taking money from checking accounts

Hello, I have a few questions on judgments. First, how many times can someone take money from your checking account when a judgment has been filed against you, and is there a limit they can take? Also, if a judgment is to be filed against you, aren't you supposed to be served in person to at least sign that you have seen the summons?

Last year in November I received a letter from my family that got sent to their house (They live in RI, I live in MO). That letter was a summons to appear in court in RI. I got the letter 2 days after the court date and so needless to say I didn't go to court and the judgment was accepted by the courts (I couldn't have gone to court anyway seeing as I live in MO now and have been for 10 years). Not soon after they took all the money from my checking account and savings. I called them after seeing this and to make a long story short I gave them my current address and phone number and they told me that the person handling my case was on vacation and would get back to me.

Now six months later and no further communication between them and I (I told my family to return to sender any further mail from them as they have my current info and can mail me or call me if they wish). This week I saw that they took all my money out of my account again. Almost 6 months to the day of the fist garnishment.

Anyway, can anyone help me with my questions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't have the money to grab a lawyer and they seem unwilling to make payment arrangements.

PS. To clear something up, I have never lived at the address that they were sending the letters to. I did live in RI, but that was nearly 10 years ago.

Dad charged for drunken driving

september. 14 reporting that her husband was driving their 7 year old daughter in a vehicle while swallowed.

representatives found the dad driving a minivan to his house. The 49 yr old Westlake man failed one field sobriety test, But when asked you need to do a second, He asked, "Why would I continue,

Police arrested the man for using a vehicle while impaired and child endangering. the caretaker picked up the 7 year old from the scene. among Westlake jail, The father listed in a breath test and was found to be over twice the legal limit. september. 17 to complain of two unwanted guests at his house who had been refusing to leave. The caller said the two women were involved with drug use.

Officers located one of the women walking down the personal street. She showed signs of recent drug use and was born with heroin and hypodermic needles.

Officers arriving at the caller's house found the second woman. She possessed drugs and paraphernalia as well, in police.

Officers learned that the hot spanish women complaining resident had invited the women to the house and they accused him of buying and using narcotics with them. Police caught all three.

the ladies one a 22 year old from Elyria and the other a 28 year old from Westlake, Were involved in drug possession. Police charged the 58 year old manwith empowering drug abuse. sept. 19 for a traffic violation.

The officer pointed out that a male passenger in the car seemed nervous. The 37 year old North Olmsted traveler had several warrants, this sort of a felony warrant.

the person, While being charged, confessed that he had powder cocaine and a straw in his wallet.

Westlake police charged him with felony title of cocaine.

The man claimed that he was 32 yoa, Which did not correspond to the dob he provided officers. Police detained him for misidentification.

They later discovered that he was a 32 year old Maryland man who was on probation and prohibited from leaving that state. He had borrowed the vehicle from a woman he had met on an online dating service.
