Your company's name(J B MCYDSNB) has appeared on my credit report as the only Derogatory Account. As I have never had dealings with you, I want to know how to remove this incorrect info from my record.
How would you know you've never dealt with MCYDSNB, if you don't even know who they are (as in this site doesn't have squat to do with Macy's)??
If you've never had a Macy's card (or one of their affiliates -Robinsons May, Dillards, Marshall Fields, Daytons, etc...), then you would need to dispute the entry with each of the credit reporting agencies. You can also call 800-458-6229 (Macy's credit).
This could be due to the fact that Macy's bout The Jones Store not too long ago. If you had a Jones Store Card, the account should appear on your Credit Report. It should also show a Jones Store account as Transferred. If this is not the case, you may need to do more research to determine if this is valid or not.
