Getting the biggest bang for your buck, You work hard for your money, spend it wisely.
1. Coupon clipping is one of the best ways to save money. Watching for the doubling up and tripling up can help you save even more.
2. Look for the clearance items, you can shop the clearance isle and save a bundle.
3. Think ahead, it does not have to be snowing out to think ahead for holiday gifts, save on items through out the year.
4. Track your spending, know where your pennies are going.
5. Buy the new light bulbs, they really do cut down on energy costs, they seem a little more expensive but save you a ton in the long run. Just replace them one at a time, starting with the lighting that you use the most. Try using a lower wattage bulb if you plan to stick with the old traditional bulb.
6. If you are shopping online, look for free or discount shipping. Sometimes you will get a discount for purchasing more than one item or a set amount will be shipped for the same price, even if the item is put on back order, the shipping will remain the same.
7. Splurge on the name brand, generic is often watered down and you have to use more to get the same clean result, even though the jug is the same size, you are getting a more concentrated version that uses less to do what you need to get done.
This is just some of the things that I have done to save a few bucks. I have seen that money saving is an issue that others like to discuss on here.
i wish i could be like you but im too busy and on the go so much i dont have time to spare although i do look for sale items and use some coupons on stuff i always use. other than that i waste a lot of my money. i know i should be more conservitive but i just dont pay attention. maybe its a little lazy. lol
You just need to pay more attention to your budget dadummy, I think that you are very capable of doing this, you seem to very organized on this site anyway.
You have posted some really good tips here August, I try to clip as many coupons as I can and do the doubling up so that I can save even more.
Hope to see you posting more on here August, LOL, good to see you here.
Budget should be organized at all times. That is something that can save us from rainy day :)
im just lazy when it comes to being conservative. if i want something i get it, which is poor judgement on my part and no im not rich i just do it kinda like compulsive buying from depression.
Da,
This is might lead you into trouble. later. Even if you buy keep a check on it. Just a suggestion
A penny saved is a penny earned!
That is what I have always heard lunchtime.
gee i look like a college grad in this subject. i just used a coupon for a dollar off two pizzas so i saved a buck. but i just bought something else because i knew i saved a buck im compulsive. theres no saveing me.
be careful. Just a friendly warning. Finance is difficult.
Have you seen all the sensex drops in different countries just for US trade disturbances?
It jumps up and down like this, they are all freaking out, saying that we will be in a recession soon. I don't know will have to wait it out and see.
There are many who have invested and lost. What is the matter with the economy?
I try to save all that I can on groceries and house hold items, those cleaning items can really rack up the bill if you don't look for coupons or buy the bulk when it is on sale. I try to buy it when it is on sale and buy enough of it to make a difference.
I think that is a great way to deal with finance and budget. Great job lunchtime.
I have the jar that I put all my change in, just the pennies, nichols and dimes, they add up very quickly.
i just used a coupon for a dollar off two pizzas so i saved a buck. but i just bought something else because i knew i saved a buck im compulsive.
