do you think they enforce speed limits enough i live in the country around a lot of little towns. we have had people killed by coal trucks going to fast apparently they dont learn from it because ive seen them still flying even where theres a memorial resurected. they dont seem to care. they even go through town about 40-50mph and the limit is 25 but i never see a cop stop one of them but i have seen them stop cars comeing through there a little fast and no it wasnt me who got stopped i just think the trucks would be a priority since so many people have been getting killed in this area.

what will it take how many should die before something is done
reckless driving cannot be controlled it seems. I dont understand why their licenses are not forfeited. That would teach them a good lesson.
With the coal trucks I think they need to start paying them by the hour instead of by the load, this would slow them down, hell they may even stop to eat if there was a chance of over time, LOL. It is all about the money and the production. I too, have tons of flying coal trucks, maybe if we still used the railroads the way we used to it would be safer.
Dadummy, I see them enforces the speed limit around the end of the month when they have to meet that almighty quota on tickets.
I see them flying down the road everyday, does not seem to be anything even bad roads that can slow them down. That is a good idea to pay them by the hour, every other job is paid that way. The only outcome of this would be safer driving and potentially save lives.
I would think the police would be more apt to stop these guys for speeding because they would get more money out of them. Maybe the state just don't care, the only ones that do are the families of the ones who are hurt or killed by their crazy driving.

they really need pushed to do something all the families that have people killed ought to file some major law suits maybe if a few businesses get shut down they will listen. big companies dont think twice about a big fine. pay it and tell the drivers to be careful but get them loads they are money. ive even heard drivers make remarks about they dont have to worry they are bigger than those 4 wheelers, and if need be they will run over them. that shows no respect as i see it, maybe if they lost thier license it would make them think after all those people who got killed dont have any choices any more.
did everyone see that wreck in california all those vehicles from fog due to some fire.
I think they enforce them at certain times of the month or if they get calls from a certain area of a problem area. Like the coal trucks speeding. These trucks often follow the same route for months at a time, so concerned citizens calling in may prompt action by the police.
