loans
why or how can they do this
This would be an awesome question for the insurance forum...
Anyway, I am a 40 year old male in good health, BUT, had BP issues in the past (its in the family) and take meds for it. Thus, that issue is gone for now... But was denied life insurance because "I had past medical concerns" Referring to the BP... I wrote back and told them "I have present concerns over their current conditions of coverage for the average American citizen."
Its a good question Dadummy....
your choice..

Well, for the first things first i'd love to say that your prospective carrier may have their own terms & conditions stated at the policy papers.
You may need to go through all the clauses carefully & do a lot of window-shopping before you get something handy!
Since you're so much confident, that why i'd rely more on your doctor's vision & his statements. If your words are not getting counted, then perhaps his judgment would do.
Yes, its quite true that for possible pre-conditioned applicants the life insurance is scanty & even when it has something to offer the costs night just not be on your side.
But first of all you need to justify the fact that you're not a terminally ill patient & hence ought to get covered. If still your prayers are unheard then you'd always have the right to launch your complaint with the State dept. of insurance. Am I right!

Its great to have you here Dave.
Welcome Dave, as Laura stated it is great to have you here.
Dadummy, I think that they would consider your condition and consider the risk, if you are in bad health you would be considered high risk, I know that is not what you wanted to hear, but if you go to the insurance forum and pose the question I am sure you will get a similar answer.

thanks everyone im still checking on this but in the meantime ill hold out .
They probably won't then if they are aware of your health issues. You are considered high risk to them.
yes, if you are going for a health insurance, the insurance company will always check your current health status to minimize their risk. This is because health insurance is based on the concept that the insurance company will take care of your medical expenses only after you have entered into an insurance agreement with the company. Now if you are medically unfit before you enter into an agreement with the insurance company, then this means that the probability that they need to pay you is high. So most of the insurance companies will not agree to provide an insurance to a sick person.
hi Dadummy which of the health problem have you? i also have same condition like you but i purchased life insurance so want to give you website of my company where i purchased life insurance.
