I electronically paid a bill yesterday, not posted today

As a snowbird, I haven't recieved my bill. I called yesterday, paid via telephone, and was told it went through. Today it says I haven't paid. It's due today--I don't want a late charge or credit damage. What gives?? I've always paid on time or early; I tried calling again today, can't talk to anybody untill tomorrow.

I remember in 2017, my credit score was horrible, I had so many collection accounts and would not approve for anything. I had rental debt, charge offs, student loans, tax liens e.t.c. from your credit report.
