I would like to know if these payday loan companies are legal, Sagamore, 500 Fast Cash, Rapid cash Management, and United Cash Loans, I live in the state of Pennsylvania and are they allowed to give out loans to people in PA. I closed out my bank account yesterday and they put a hard block on my closed account.
Payday lending is prohibited in PA. All lenders in this state are illegal. That means all the above mentioned lenders are also illegal in your state. If you have taken out loans from them, then just pay back them the principal. You have done the right thing by closing down your bank account. Don’t worry, they can’t take any legal action against you.
And in case you've overpaid, demand a refund.
