smal claims Judgment against me--I have no job and no money

I need advice, I current have a small claims suite against me --but I have no job and no money. What can I do, the person is very malicious and out to get me--so there is no being rationale with them. So should I be really worried--I plan to open a home business and homeschool, but now I dont know if I should just get a hokie dokie job and pay this off or what really--Can or should I file for bankrupt?

Can I know what kind of debt is this an the state you live in? You need to provide more details on this debt so that the members here can help you in this problem. Is this a default judgment?

You can try settling the judgment amount if it isn't possible for you to pay the outstanding debt amount. If the person who has sued you agrees to the settlement, get the agreement in writing. It is better to avoid bankruptcy. Bankruptcy will be listed on your credit report and will hurt your credit sore by 200-350 points.
