You cannot delete credit as such to boost your credit. You will have to request your creditors, or collection agencies, or the credit bureaus to delete the wrong informations, and negative listings from your credit report.
However, you need to provide more information on your credit, so that the members here can help you in deleting wrong information from your credit report.
I've tried to 'work with' some CA's. They (some of them) give you the impression that 'you' aren't worth 'working with'. That can be frustrating!! But...I just keep on plugging away!!

Remember, though.........bad credit can stay on your CR for up to 7 years. If you think there are negative accounts, on your credit, that are NOT yours,..you can always 'dispute' those items with the CB's.
It is always better to improve any credit information that is currently negative versus closing the account. If you mean delete your credit report all together this is not possible. You can ask the credit bureau of the major 3 or all 3 depending on who provided the info to either remove it or prove the entry is correct. Make arrangments with the creditor to make small payments so ther is atleast positive activity. Meanwhile remove old and outdated entries to raise your score over time.
Depending on how long the bad credit on on your CR. Usually,..with bad credit accounts, there is a 'fall off' date that is stated on your CR. If, for some reaqson, the debt hasn't 'fallen off' by that date, you can 'dispute' it with the CRA's. I actually tried doing that with a debt that was suppose to 'fall off'. After disputing it, it WAS off my credit.
No, you cannot delete negative listings from your credit report. Negative items remain on your credit report for at least 7-10 years. If you want to improve your credit score, you will have to payoff your debt on time. Because, late payments affect 35% on your credit score.
You may want to see if you can make arrangements with some of the CA's for 'Pay for Delete'...you pay off the debt and the CA's remove the debt from your CR. However....that just depends on whether or not the CA's are willing to do that. If they are, keep documentation of everything you have, etc...to prove the arrangements you've made.
Actually deleting credit card will affect your credit score. So, to boost your credit score you may pay your dept on time, maintain low credit balances also.
You can remove the negative information from your credit report, and boost your credit score but it takes time. Closing credit card it will hurt on your credit score.
I went through a divorce a few years ago and had young children. Remember, though.........bad credit can stay on your CR for up to 7 years. If you think there are negative accounts, on your credit, that are NOT yours,..you can always 'dispute' those items with the CB's.
Delete Credit
It is always better to improve any credit information that is currently negative versus closing the account. If you mean delete your credit report all together this is not possible. You can ask the credit bureau of the major 3 or all 3 depending on who provided the info to either remove it or prove the entry is correct. Make arrangments with the creditor to make small payments so ther is atleast positive activity. Meanwhile remove old and outdated entries to raise your score over time.

Yes, bad credit cannot be deleted as such. The negatives against the credit account can rather be removed.

Depending on how long the bad credit on on your CR. Usually,..with bad credit accounts, there is a 'fall off' date that is stated on your CR. If, for some reaqson, the debt hasn't 'fallen off' by that date, you can 'dispute' it with the CRA's. I actually tried doing that with a debt that was suppose to 'fall off'. After disputing it, it WAS off my credit.

No, you cannot delete negative listings from your credit report. Negative items remain on your credit report for at least 7-10 years. If you want to improve your credit score, you will have to payoff your debt on time. Because, late payments affect 35% on your credit score.

You may want to see if you can make arrangements with some of the CA's for 'Pay for Delete'...you pay off the debt and the CA's remove the debt from your CR. However....that just depends on whether or not the CA's are willing to do that. If they are, keep documentation of everything you have, etc...to prove the arrangements you've made.
Actually deleting credit card will affect your credit score. So, to boost your credit score you may pay your dept on time, maintain low credit balances also.
You can remove the negative information from your credit report, and boost your credit score but it takes time. Closing credit card it will hurt on your credit score.

I went through a divorce a few years ago and had young children.
