I have several payday loans that are causing me to slowly drown in debt. After reading some information on this site it seems to me that unless the company is licensed in NH (where I reside) they are not legal. Is this correct? If I call the companies and state that are they likely to provide me with paid in full letters or should I only be communicating with them through email/physical letter?
The loans are as follows:
Alpine Direct - Loan: 200 Withdrawn: 480
SSM Group LLC - Loan:250 Withdrawn: 600
VIP Loan Shop - Loan:400 Withdrawn: 540
CCS (community Credit Services) - Loan: 500 Withdrawn: 665
PayDay Services - Loan:200 Withdrawn: 316
Cash In a Wink - Loan: 400 Withdrawn: 120
Extra Cash Live - Loan: 400 Withdrawn 360
Big Sky Cash - Loan: 400 Withdrawn: 480
EastSide Lenders - Loan: 700 Withdrawn: 210
Ace Cash Services - Loan: 350 Withdrawn: 210
They were all internet loans.

All the above mentioned lenders are illegal. You owe them nothing more than the principal balance. Don’t pay them any interest or fees. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.

In case you're not able to repay your debt, opt for payday loan debt settlement. Demand a refund in case you've overpaid.

Report collection abuse to your state's attorney general, in case the payday lenders are harassing you for payments.
