I took out a payday loan last July with Western Sky. They immediately sold it to Cash Call. The total amount with finance charges was $850. I have now paid $826.82. I have closed my bank account to stop the money from coming out. They now are calling and emailing me. The crazy thing is that I log into Western Sky and see my payment schedule, but don't have any log-in to cash call(says I don't exist). It seems like my loan is still through Western Sky. Can I send them the letter listed on this forum about them being illegal in the state of Indiana and agree to pay the remaining principal owed? Will this do me any good? I appreciate any advice you can give me on this.

Yeah…send Western Sky the letter stating that they are illegal in your state and that’s why you owe them only the principal balance, nothing more than that. Don’t pay them an extra dime other than the borrowed amount. Don’t worry mate...they can’t take any legal action against you.

Western Sky is an illegal lender and many states are in the process of suing them and cash call. DO not follow Sallys advice.....you simply cannot close a bank account down....if you do not do an ACH revocation any debit coming thru will reopen the account costing you a ton of money in overdrafts fees. Follow all of the instructions in this link.
