Go to jail for fraud

Last year I got a $500.00 loan on the internet then I lost my job. Now they are calling and threatening me that I will go to jail for fraud. I am from ohio. Can someone tell me if this can happen?

No you can’t go to jail for nonpayment because debts are civil case, not a criminal offense. You may file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.
