Preparing to go to court next Monday

I am being sued for credit card debt. I am preparing to go to court next Monday, without a lawyer. If I am able to come up with the total amount due, can I reach settlement without injuring my credit score too much.

I don’t think so. This is because any kind of debt settlement will hurt your credit score. It would be better for you to try to negotiate with your creditors and set up a payment arrangement with them, if possible.
