I have a credit card debt that has been paid off but they won’t take it off my credit report. I can’t buy a house because of this. How can I get this taken off my credit report?
Ask your creditor to report about your full payment towards your credit card account to the credit bureaus. Or you can send them your payment proofs to get that negative item removed from your credit report.

You can’t remove them now. It will remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. After that time period it will automatically be removed from your credit report.
