I have a charged off on my credit report (credit card) it is almost going to be more than 10 years in Feb. Is it a good idea to pay it off or can it be removed?
Usually negative items will remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. After 7 years it will automatically be removed from your credit report. I think it would be better for you to pay-off your debt asap.
