Paid more than the principal

I have 3 legal payday loans and 4 illegal payday loans. I’m lagging behind my payments on the legal payday loans. I have paid more than the principal amount to the illegal payday loan lenders. The illegal payday loan lenders are not giving any refund. What can I do in this situation?

Ask your illegal lenders for a refund as you have paid them more than principal. But it fully depends on their discretion whether or not to give you a refund. Close down your old bank account and open a new one. As far as the legal loans are concerned, you may try to consolidate your debts on your own.
