I'm a defendent in a foreclosure lawsuit to reform the legal description on a warranty deed I gave 10 years ago. Can this affect my credit even though I am not mentioned in the loan portion of the lawsuit? I understand the bank has to sue anyone who could have an interest in the property and to reform the legal description on the warranty deed.

I think it would be better for you to consult with an attorney in this regard and take advice from him/her.
I was looking for a second opinion - my attorney felt since I was not mentioned in the loan portion of the lawsuit that a judgement in this case would not affect my credit. Thanks - Tim
