I have a payday loan company calling me and telling me they are going to put me in jail for fraud and threatening me at work and everything..they keep calling my job site and said they would keep calling...I have gotten so far in debt with this that I got behind in my rent...NEVER take a payday loan they are more dangerous than a pit cobra!

Sounds like this creditor is violating the Fair Debt Collection Laws. They are threatening you with things that they legally cannot do. You cannot be put in jail for a debt you owe. You should report their behavior and you may have a lawsuit for engaging in behavior that violates collection laws.

Which payday lender is it, there are alot of sharks out there, they are sweet as pie until you get behind and then they turn into monsters.

I have 6 now, my reasons arent important now, I am in Vermont and have just found out they are illegal to Vermont citizens. I 've been overseas for the past 7 years and did not know how deadly to your life they were. Im not getting child support and my job, while good, does not help a single mom with two kids. He left me with a 2000 volvo with 260,000 miles, repair after repair. What is the worst that can happen to me if I close my checking account and cut off the source of the money? I'm about to be evicted, need gas , all of my life bills are behind because of all of this. I am in a sink hole. Anyone plz help. I did fill out a complaint form with the Attorney Generals office but I do not know what they can do. Anyone have an answer?
