Only one on the credit card.

My husband had a judgment against him for a credit card debt. We live in Florida. The credit card company just reopened the case to garnish our joint bank account. He is the only one on the credit card, but our only checking account is in both of our names. He is also the sole provider for our family. What can we do?

This is true. If you, yourselve, were getting some kind of income that was being dorected deposited,..then maybe you could 'fight' it because your income would be in the bank account, as well. However, if your husband is the sole provider, than they are legally doing what they can do....taking the debt from your husband's bank account. It doesn't matter if it's both names or not on it.
