I received a collection letter for a 15 year old credit card debt that is not on my credit report. The collection agency is offering a settlement. What should I do?

I think the SOL period in your state has expired. If it has crossed, then the CA can’t take any legal action against you. It depends on you whether or not you are interested for settlement.
