I have 5 charged off student loans. I have been paying them off through debt collecting service, but I didn't know if there was a way to remove this off my credit history when paid in full. I have some money coming in next month that will help me clear some loans, so I am hoping to start the process of fixing my credit. These loans went into charge off in the beginning of the year, but I recently found out and started handling them. Your advice would be much appreciated.

Usually student loans remain on your credit report for 7.5 years from the date of your first default. After that, it will automatically be removed from your credit report. If the loans are federal student loans, then they can stay indefinitely on your credit report.
