remove public records entries from credit report
You can contact with VHDA directly and negotiate with them. You may make a written request to them via certified mail with a return receipt request to remove the negative listing from your credit report after repaying the judgment. If they accept your proposal, then they may update your account status as “Paid judgment†and remove the negative listings from your credit report after repaying the judgment.
Removing public records
From doing some research, I have read that you can't remove a public record entry from your credit report even if you have paid it off. They will change the status to "Paid Judgement", but it will still remain in your credit report for 10 years.
