The debt was charged off in 2008 and I filed the 1099c in 2009. There is no collection agency involve and the creditors do not want to accept payment on the debt. I need the late payments to be removed.

You can contact with your creditors and inform them regarding this matter. You may make a written request to them to update your account status and remove the negative items from your credit report. But it depends on their discretion whether or not to accept your request. Usually negative items remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default.
