I have desputed items on my credit with no luck. I am willing to pay in full a couple credit cards on my report as long as they delete them after being paid in full. How do I go about this, just by sending a letter of pay for delete first? If they deny does it make the item stay on my credit longer or since I didn't pay anything the fall off date will stay the same? Please help!! Oh and what do I do if I don't know my account numbers?
Once you have a word with your credit card issuer, you may ask if they're willing to accept the said amount and remove your listing. Even after paying it off if the negative listing exists, then you may get it disputed with the credit bureaus as well.
