i recieved a schedule award for a workers comp injury and they sent out checks every month for almost three years requesting status updates periodically which i filled out and sent back and now they say the checks were in error and they want me to pay back 94 thousand dollars
I'd really like to know if they're demanding a full refund. Or is it that they want you to repay the excess that they've paid by mistake? Do you keep photocopies of your status updates?
I have an open worker's comp case and they paid me over by mistake back in February and now they have just taken the over amount out of my paycheck while I am on light duty. An advocate for the Utah Labor Commission said that this is illegal and I am going before a Labor Commission judge to try to have the money returned.
