What is the best way to go about cleaning up these old credi

I have two credit card accounts which were charged off, when I was injured and off work. One with HSBC Bank, the other with First Premier.

HSBC is listed as charged-off, purchased by another lender. First Premier is simply listed as charged-off as bad debt, profit and loss write-off.

HSBC's debt is showing up through Portfolio Recovery under CAs.

I am assuming with First Premier, since there is no CA with their account, I should send a DV letter, and if they validate, send a PFD? Is there a better way to handle it?

On HSBC, I would like to get both them and the CA removed. I guess I should send a DV to the CA, and follow with a PFD, but what about HSBC? The CA opened their account 01/2008. Is there a chance that HSBC no longer has their records, and a simple CRA dispute will remove it? Also I have heard talk of a 623 dispute letter. Will this work for them?

Also before I do anything, should I simply dispute all 3 online with the CRAs?

Many thanks in advance.

Anyone? I don't wanna make a move until I know what is right to do.

Once a debt gets past it's SOL, it will come off your report naturally. Prior to that, you may get a listing disputed but it often stays in your report for long.
