A family member took out four credit cards in my name(They even tried to pay them) and now owes around $14000 on them. I dont want to press charges i just want to dispute these charges and get them off my credit. The cards are all addressed to my parents house where i havent lived lived for many years. Some of the cards even have the wrong middle initial on them. I dont want anyone to get in trouble I just want to get this removed from my credit report. I have contacted an attorney to get a final judgment removed from my record. I dont know what else to do.

Well, I don't think a family member can take out credit cards without your signature on the application form. If he's done that, then that's quite illegal. I don't think the factor that you didn't live in your paternal home will stand when they already have so much information to prove that the applicant was indeed 'you'.
