In 2009, I was hit with a $4500 student loan that I didnt apply for. They sent out a letter with someone else information and telephone number to call, I call them and sumitted the loan # and his name. I tole them that I have no outstanding loans under them. They refuse to provide proof of signature since Im required to have a POA from the individual. I have no clue who this person is and Im about to hunt him down. My credit is destoryed, but the funny thing is that he recieved this loan digitally signed with my name. I wont pay this and I have sent out letters and I intend to send more until all the trees are gone!

It seems a bit strange...how can they identify him as the same person when you two don't share the same address? It seems as if you've become a victim of identity theft.
