MOM DIED IN 2008. 2 COLLECTORS FILED CLAIM IN PROBATE. The only thing in estate is vacation is a home. Which is deteriating because we cannot tend to it properly until settled.
1 card was charged off in '06 other in '07
1 is $4598.00 other is $800.00
I sent cert. DV letter 30 days ago , no reply.
So Im sending 2nd Cert. letter requesting they send release to Court or face suit for dismissal and damages for denying us use of our [property. Where do I file suit in Ga. and does this sound reasonable.
You may file a lawsuit at the Magistrate Courts of Georgia (Small claims court). Since the total worth of debt is not exceeding $15,000, you can probably get it settled in the small claims court.
