I also had a question as to which secure credit card would be best for me at this point I've got it narrowed down to two choices.

Either Citi Bank secured card or Orchard bank secured card which is sponsered by HSBC.

I live in California, and both the dates on these are in 2007. The point of the credit card would be to raise my score from a different angle.

you need to write a 623 letter to BofA. I still don't think the new card will over come the negatives

I should also point out that the Sol is going to expire in Cali and this will help you. do you need an explanation of 623?
