My husband received a summons due to non payment of a credit card. I know I have to respond however, I am not finding any form on how to respond with "answer"
I plan on denial because my father in law and my husband have the same name. We have no idea who this belongs to.
Does anybody know how to "answer" a summons or which form to use? Do I use a plain white letter paper?
I did go to the court house and they were unable to help me. They said I had to ask for a particular form and they could not tell me which one....
that is rude, I work at court house and what you are saying doesn't make sense. Do they have a lawyer of the day?
They can tell you which forms to choose from.
I would send a DV letter to the people that summons you. You can also prepare a letter for the court stating that you are not the correct person and the plaintiff has not supplied any records to you.
Apparently it would be that they would be giving me legal advice therefore, can not assist me on what paper work to use :(
I do plan on sending a DV letter however, I'm told that to reply to summons first.
I'm going to go to another court house to see if anybody else is willing to give me info on what document to use.
Thank you for your response!
Send the
DV letter now! Who told you to wait?
