I have a collection account that was valid and paid off. It dates back from 2006 and it occurred while I was in high school. Now that I am about to graduate from college I was wondering if there was any valid reason to write a dispute to get it removed. Or if I could try to write a dispute on emotional appeal and pray for the best!
Feedback would be GREAT! =)
Re: Any way to remove negative accounts that were valid?
Actually, I wouldn't recommend closing your credit card account, closed accounts impact your score and do nothing to help improve...
how old were you when this debt was made?
what state do you live in?
what is the original creditor and the name of the collection agency?
