Payment details not on report

Hi,

I became 30 day late on my car payment this month. I have been struggling lately to keep this loan payment under 30 days. I had tried to make a check by phone payment but the system did not take it. I noticed it not taken out of my checking account promptly and called the bank the next day. A man I spoke to asked me to wait for some days. Yesterday, 10 days later, I spoke to a human and made the payment. I purchased my Experian and TransUnion reports today, but the payment had still not been posted. I went ahead and did an online dispute anyway. Should I have done that?

Hi Min S,

I think you will have to wait and see what happens about this payment. You can talk to the manager or a higher authority and make him understand that you had tried to make the payment much before the due date but there was problem in the system. Ask him about the grace period too.

if there is an error causing a late payment then you should complaint to the bank regulator
