Hi all,

today, I went to Wellsfargo bank to open an account, after they enter my social security to their system, they told me that SS # already in there, but different name ??? even I show them my SS # card, and passport, they still ask me to go social office to get a verification letter, after 3 hours waiting at social office....for that proof on my hand, but Iam thinking to open a case to sue Wellsfargobank for alow someone using same my SS $ to open account without verified that SS # belong to their customer, second why I have to take my day off to go social office to get that proof ?, last thing Wellsfargo customers service are terible.

so what do think about this case

You should file complaint with your local police and get an affidavit stating that your SS No. was used by someone to open an account. Send it to the 3 CRA and activate a fraud alert for your account.

I am shocked that Wellsfargo can make such a mistake of not checking your name with the SS number before opening the account. You should file them for such kind of negligence.

Also check your Social Security Statement and contact the Social Security as early as possible.

thanks all folks,

now wellsfargo going to investigate that person and will me know soon, that's all they said, my feeling that they don't even care about that fraud, they did not do or say anything to make me happy, even when they ask me if I want to open an acount with them, I said no, and they said when ever you feel better just coming back. I hope no one else have to face with this kindna b.s, specially you have to go to social office.
