Do you just go through and put admit or deny? Should i admit the debt? This is with a collection agency, listed as an assignee of the original creditor...what does that mean? And How do i answer this?
"That the obligation of the defendant to the plantiff is a marital obligation in that the goods and services purchased through the use of the credit card and any monies obtained were used in the interest of the marriage or the family of the defendant."
What is this saying?

Hi woodliha,

Do you just go through and put admit or deny?

Yes you will have to admit and deny (as applicable) to the charges brought against you in the answer to the summons.

Should i admit the debt?

If you are sure about this debt, that is if you know that you owe this debt you can admit to it. For answering to the summons you can get help either from the court clerk or an attorney. You can request the court clerk to help you in answering to the summons.

As for

"That the obligation of the defendant to the plantiff is a marital obligation in that the goods and services purchased through the use of the credit card and any monies obtained were used in the interest of the marriage or the family of the defendant."

I won't be bale to explain this clearly to you. This is a court matter, and it is best to take advice from an attorney.

Thanks,

Aaron
